Consilia is looking for a fellow C++ embedded SW developer senior to join its SW/HW development team

Consilia is a medium-sized Czech company that has been successfully working with European customers on innovative projects in the field of electronics and embedded software development for 20 years.

The results of our work can be found in today's embedded systems, test and measurement systems, and state-of-the-art communication devices.

Job description

As a C++ embedded software developer, you will independently design the architecture, analyze possible platforms, and select the most suitable one. You will also implement the creation of software modules, perform unit tests, integrate software modules into the system and functional tests.

Main tasks

The development of embedded software for ARM Cortex-A (Linux OS and applications).
The development of embedded SW for ARM Cortex-M (bare metal FW).
A team collaboration on SW architecture design.
Debugging in different development environments.
Unit tests.
The integration of individual SW modules into the system.
Functional tests.
Collaboration with other teams in the field.

To work with Consilia, you need

Knowledge of C, C++, and object-oriented programming in embedded software - At least a large part of it. We can do the rest.
Experience with commercial projects - Knack of home embedded fiddling about can be very useful too.
Willingness to push the technology development a bit further - Our creations change with the times and you rarely buy something like this on Aliexpress.
Knowledge of English, both written and verbal - At least the communicative basics to get along with the customer and accommodate the hotel. We offer opportunities to improve your english with us.
Driving license with no. B is an advantage - We often travel to our customers in the EU by car, but we are not opposed to the comfort of a train.
